A piece OF our HISTORY
This 1942 Mack engine went into service back in 1975 and was the flower mound fire department’s first fire engine. It was designated with the engine number 343, which just so happens to be the same amount of Fire fighters that were lost at the twin towers on 9/11. In honor of those men and women who tragically made the ultimate sacrifice on that day, and to commemorate those that have paved the way before us serving the citizens of flower mound, we are restoring this engine to use as a mobile reminder and a lasting memorial of our proud history as the flower mound fire department.
Help restore Flower mound fire departments first fire engine.
